A: Outline of SDI

The Star Dreams Initiative (SDI) is a project that offers an alternative vision to the weaponization of space, i.e. Star Wars.

Star Wars represents continuing with our war-like ways, exported wars into outer space. Star Wars is a choice of going with the internal emotions of fear, aggression, conflict, non-trust, control over others and a desire to move towards a future of perpetual wars, agony and suffering. This choice leads to a nightmare on Earth.

Star Dreams represents transforming our war industry into a peaceful, cooperative sustainable Space Age society, and integrating with an intelligent, organized Universe society. The choice of peaceis a choice that almost every man, woman, and child can dream of. Star Dreams represents going with the internal emotions of caring about life, of curiosity, exploration, trust, cooperation and a desire to move towards a more spiritual future. Supporting initiatives such as the Space Preservation Treaty-signing Conference to ban war in space and space-based weapons is a legal step towards Star Dreams. This choice leads to hope and dreams.

Choosing Star Dreams and banning war in space and space-based weapons will lead to the transformation of the war industry into a peaceful and global cooperative space exploration industry. We will then create a system of communication and cooperation with technologically advanced and peaceful “off planet cultures” (OPCs) that are presently engaging our world. Such cooperation will potentially lead to help resolve some of our coming environmental problems on Earth.

The Universal Paradigm of the Star Dreams Initiative will help increase cooperation on Earth. It will gradually be used to help create more unity in the worldviews of National and International decision-makers, as well as our human cultures, religions, communities, corporate, military, organizations, families, individuals, and the media.

The Star Dreams Initiative (SDI) will be inspiring, compelling and beneficial for all of humanity as we work together to make the best of our situation on Earth. We are at a pivotal point in our history and we have an opportunity like at no other time in human history. Let's imagine what we want the next 50 years to be like and let's choose the shining spiritual legacy of Star Dreams.

"It's in your moments of decisions that your destiny is shaped." - Anthony Robbins

B: The Exopolitics Model

The “Exopolitics” model provides an operational bridge between models of terrestrial politics, government and law, and the larger models of politics, government and law in Universe society.

Exopolitics proposes that the most probable conception of our human circumstance on Earth may be that we exist on an isolated planet in the midst of a populated, evolving, highly organized inter-planetary, multidimensional, Galactic, Universe society.

This model presents us with data that lead us to conclude that humanity lives on a planet that has been quarantined for eons. Our planet is an incubator, a nest where primitive human life has been evolving for thousands of years. Humans, within a developing society, have been evolving towards a more conscious, compassionate and civilized way of living while science has allowed us to grasp a better understanding of our place within our solar system and within our galaxy.

C: 1977 Carter White House Extraterrestrial Communication Study

The Star Dreams Initiative may sound like a challenge but the reality is that the Project consolidates a foundation of established work that has already been accomplished over the last several decades, and builds upon that. A similar proposed project was prepared by Star Dreams Initiative (SDI) Director, Alfred Webre, JD, MEd for the Carter White House in 1977 but it was ended because of the political climate at the time.

“As Senior Policy Analyst in 1977 at the Center for the Study of Social Policy at Stanford Research Institute (now "SRI International", Menlo Park, California), Alfred Webre was Principal Investigator for a proposed civilian scientific Study of extraterrestrial communication, i.e. interactive communication between the terrestrial human culture and that of possible intelligent non-terrestrial civilizations. This proposed Study was presented to and developed with interested White House staff of the Domestic Policy staff of President Jimmy Carter during the period from May 1977 until the fall of 1977, when it was abruptly terminated.”

“The over-all purpose of the proposed 1977 Carter White House Extraterrestrial Communication Study was to create, design and carry out an independent, civilian-led research compilation and evaluation of phenomena suggesting an Extraterrestrial and/or Inter-dimensional intelligent presence in the near-Earth environment. “

“The designed outcome of the Study was to have been a public White House report, detailing the compiled evidence and evaluation, together with possible scientific models for the implications of the research. The White House report was to have contained public policy recommendations emerging from the evaluations and conclusions of the Study. These, if warranted, included transformation of secrecy regulations of U.S. military-intelligence agencies.”

“The scientific and public policy goal of the proposed 1977 Carter White House Extraterrestrial Communication Study was to fill a substantial gap in civilian scientific knowledge of the UFO (Unidentified Flying Object phenomenon), Extraterrestrial Biological Entities (EBEs), and related phenomena. This knowledge gap was created and maintained by excessive secrecy practices and regulations of U.S. Department of Defense and intelligence agencies in the various generations of its UFO-programs since the late 1940s, including but not limited to Project Grudge and Project Blue Book, as well as other alleged secret programs. “

“Historically, the U.S. government and research agencies proposed for the 1977 Carter White House Extraterrestrial Communication Study were:

White House - Principal sponsorship and policy coordination of the proposed Study.
NASA - Consultative line agency regarding UFO and Near Space phenomena, including terrestrial-UFO or EBE interaction.
National Science Foundation - Advice and consultation by the National Science Board.
SRI International – Center for the Study of Social Policy - Principal Investigators of Study.
Scientific experts on Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), Extraterrestrial Biological Entities (EBEs), and related phenomena - Scientific Advisers” (source: “The 1977 Carter White House Extraterrestrial Communication Study” by Alfred Lambremont Webre, JD, MEd.)

D: Life in the Universe

Humans have long been fascinated by the ultimate question: “Are we alone in the Universe?” Because of science and technology, today we are in a better position than at any other time in human history to seek the answer. Our space programs have sent probes to the outer edge of our solar system with messages to potential civilizations.

On June 16, 1977, President Jimmy Carter included an official statement placed on the Voyager I spacecraft for its trip outside our solar system. It said: "We cast this message into the cosmos . . . Of the 200 billion stars in the Milky Way galaxy, some - - perhaps many - - may have inhabited planet and space faring civilizations. If one such civilization intercepts Voyager and can understand these recorded contents, here is our message: We are trying to survive our time so we may live into yours. We hope some day, having solved the problems we face, to join a community of galactic civilizations. This record represents our hope and our determination and our goodwill in a vast and awesome universe."

In 1973, when he was Governor of Georgia, UFO Contactee Jimmy Carter filed an official report form of a January 1969 UFO encounter he had, when running for Governor of Georgia. Carter is not the only person to have seen a UFO and is not alone in thinking that perhaps, there is a community of galactic civilizations in our Universe. Data from remote viewers, especially sessions by Dr. Courtney Brown, also suggest that a spiritually and technologically advanced Galactic Federation of Worlds exists. It can be described as a sort of loosely organized spiritual government of our Milky Way Galaxy.

Remote viewing session with Galactic Federation Leader, conducted by Prof. Courtney Brown, PhD (from Cosmic Voyage (New York: Dutton, 1996), page 92):

"As soon as I went into his mind (a Galactic Federation Leader), I re-emerged in space. That is where I am now. I am outside of the Milky Way, looking onto it. Dotted lines have been drawn over the image, dividing up the galaxy-like quadrants."

"I am being told that there is a need for help. They need us. I am getting the sense that they need us in a galactic sense, but I seem to be resisting this. They are so much more powerful than humans; it just does not make sense why they would need us."

"The leader is sensing my resistance and redirecting me to a planet. OK, I can see it is Earth. I am being told that there will be a movement off the planet in the future for humans. I am just translating the gestalts now into words. But the sense clearly is that Earth humans are violent and troublesome currently. They need shaping before a later merger. Definitely humans need to undergo some sort of change before extending far off the planet."

Monitor: "Ask if there are any practical suggestions as to how we can help."

CB:"I am being told in no uncertain terms that I am to complete this book project. Others will play their parts. There are many involved. Many species representatives, groups."

Monitor: "As who else we should meet using remote viewing, or another technique."

CB: "Only the Martians. Hmmmm. I am being told that our near-term contact with extraterrestrials will be limited to the Martians for now, at least in the near future."

Monitor: "Ask if there is new information that we need to know but do not know"

CB: "This fellow is very patient. He knows this is hard for me. He is telling me that many problems are coming. There definitely will be a planetary disaster, or perhaps I should say disasters. There will be political chaos, turbulence, an unraveling of the current political order. As we are currently, we are unable to cope with new realities. He is telling me very directly that consciousness must become a focal concern of humans in order for us to proceed futher.

"He is right now tapping into your (my monitor's) mind. It is like he is locating YOU, and perhaps measuring or doing something. He is telling me that YOU are very important in all of this. We must come back here-their world-at later dates. We will be the initial representatives of humans as determined by consciousness. He is telling me that consciousness determined our arrival point. There is more. We are NOT saviors, just initial representatives. He wants ME to get this straight.

"I am getting the sense that he wants US to understand that WE have a responsibility to represent fairly. This is not to go to OUR heads. This is just our job now, and We all have jobs. He is also telling me that I am doing a fairly good job at writing this down."

"He likes YOUR sense of humour. He says that there will lots of activity in the future, of the day-to-day sort. But for now, we are to focus on the book. The book is important, and they will use it."

E: Evidence of planet Earth being engaged by an off planet culture

Prominent scientists, researchers, former astronauts, social leaders and former government &
military officials share the views and offer evidence that Off-Planet Cultures are visiting and engaging our planet. (Source: www.ufoevidence.org/NewSite/Papers/UFOQuotes.htm)

Stanton Friedman, The Case for the Extraterrestrial Origin of Flying Saucers, 1995
“Abstract: Careful review of a vast array of relevant evidence clearly leads to the conclusion that some unidentified flying objects are intelligently controlled vehicles whose origin is outside our solar system. All the arguments against the extraterrestrial origin seem to be based upon false reasoning, misrepresentation of evidence, neglect of relevant information, ignorance of relevant technology, or pseudo sophisticated assumptions about alien appearance, motivation, or government secrecy…”

“The primary UFO evidence consists of UFO sighting reports, multi-witness close encounters, still and motion pictures, radar trackings, simultaneous radar-visual sightings, physical traces (environmental changes in dirt, vegetation, trees, etc.) produced by UFOs, abductions by aliens of Earthlings, and very likely (in hidden locations) crashed UFOs and preserved alien bodies. The worldwide origin of the various data collections indicate similar experiences occurring and being reported independently all over the planet. The overall quality and quantity of reports is far better than most people—especially open-minded skeptics and scientists and newspaper reporters—are aware…”

There is no doubt in my mind, after 37 years of study and investigation that the evidence is overwhelming that planet Earth is being visited by intelligently controlled vehicles whose origin is extraterrestrial. There are no acceptable arguments against flying saucer reality, only people who either haven’t studied the relevant data or have a strong will not to believe that Earth is at the bottom of the heap sociologically and technologically in our local galactic neighborhood.”

James McDonald, Statement to House Subcommittee , 1968
“I have been studying now for about 2 years, on a rather intensive basis, the UFO problem. I have interviewed several hundred witnesses in selected cases, and I am astonished at what I have found.

“From time to time in the history of science, situations have arisen in which a problem of ultimately enormous importance went begging for adequate attention simply because that problem appeared to involve phenomena so far outside the current bounds of scientific knowledge that it was not even regarded as a legitimate subject of serious scientific concern. That is precisely the situation in which the UFO problem now lies.”

One of the principal results of my own recent intensive study of the UFO enigma is this: I have become convinced that the scientific community, not only in this country but throughout the world, has been casually ignoring as nonsense a matter of extraordinary scientific importance. The attention of your Committee can, and I hope will, aid greatly in correcting this situation. As you will note in the following, my own present opinion, based on two years of careful study, is that UFOs are probably extraterrestrial devices engaged in something that might very tentatively be termed surveillance.”
“The possibility that the Earth might be under surveillance by some high civilization in command of a technology far beyond ours must not be overlooked in weighing the UFO problem. I am one of those who lean strongly towards the extraterrestrial hypothesis. I arrived at that point by a process of elimination of other alternative hypotheses, not by arguments based on what I would call "irrefutable proof." I am convinced that the recurrent observations by reliable citizens here and abroad over the past twenty years cannot be brushed aside as nonsense, but rather need to be taken extremely seriously as evidence that some phenomenon is going on which we simply do not understand.”

James McDonald, letter to Mr. U. Thant, Secretray General of the United Nations, June 1967
“To the numerous serious investigators of the UFO problem, it appears conceivable that something in the nature of a global surveillance by UFOs has been underway in recent years. If this view is correct, then our present ignorance of the purpose and plan of such surveillance must be urgently replaced by maximal understanding of what is going on… The present ignorance, the present neglect and the present mocking remarks, all constitute regrettable features of our collective attitudes with regard to what can be, for all the people of the world, an affair of utter importance.”

“During twenty years, there was a persisting and intriguing flood of reports, coming from countries located in all the parts of the world, relating to what we finally called the unidentified flying objects (UFOs). In all these reports, whatever their geographical origin, the nature of the reported objects appears to be primarily similar.”

“During the last twelve months spent, I pursued an intensive examination of the scientific aspects of the UFO problem, dealing with reports originating within the limits of the United States. After I interviewed the key witnesses to dozen important cases distributed over the whole 1947-1967 period; after having studied, with personal of the U.S. Air Force, official methods of investigation; and after having personally checked a great number of other sources of information, I concluded that, far from being a stupid problem, the problem of the UFOS is a problem of an extraordinary scientific interest.”

“My own studies led me to reject the opinion according to which they are only natural atmospheric phenomena or misinterpreted astronomical phenomena; in this respect a number of official explanations are almost absurdly erroneous. It is not possible anymore to explain all these observations with assumptions calling upon the products of a technology of avant-garde or experimental secret craft, with assumptions of mystification, fraud or trickery, or with psychological assumptions. Each one of these assumptions intervenes indeed in a great number of cases, but there still remains an astonishing number of other reports, submitted by observers highly worthy of faith during the two last decades, which cannot receive such a satisfactory explanation. I believe that this vast residue of reports, which amounts now to hundreds and perhaps thousands of cases, requires the attention of the most eminent scientists of the world.”

“It is my present opinion, based on what I believe to be a sufficient scientific examination of excluding mutually assumptions, that the most probable assumption to account for the phenomenon of the UFOs is that these are a certain type of monitoring space probes, of extraterrestrial origin.”

Dr. Margaret Mead, world-renowned anthropologist, "UFOs - Visitors from Outer Space?,"
"There are unidentified flying objects. That is, there are a hard core of cases - perhaps 20 to 30 percent in different studies - for which there is no explanation... We can only imagine what purpose lies behind the activities of these quiet, harmlessly cruising objects that time and again approach the earth. The most likely explanation, it seems to me, is that they are simply watching what we are up to." (Mead, Margaret, "UFOs - Visitors from Outer Space?," Redbook, vol. 143, September 1974.)

Leslie Kean, journalist, UFO researcher, “Science and the Failure To Investigate Unidentified Aerial Phenomena”: “Unidentified aerial phenomena, otherwise known as UFOs, are real, not the stuff of science fiction. Something for which there is no scientific explanation has been observed in America’s (and the world’s) air space for over fifty-five years. Trained observers -- pilots, air traffic controllers, radar operators, astronauts, military personnel -- and government agencies have reported and documented spectacular events visually, photographically, and on radar. Many accounts are available in the literature.”

Lord Hill-Norton, Chief of Defense Staff, Ministry of Defense, Great Britain (1971-73)
”The evidence that there are objects which have been seen in our atmosphere, and even on terra firma, that cannot be accounted for either as man-made objects or as any physical force or effect known to our scientists seems to me to be overwhelming… A very large number of sightings have been vouched for by persons whose credentials seem to me unimpeachable. It is striking that so many have been trained observers, such as police officers and airline or military pilots. Their observations have in many instances—though by no menas a majority—been supported by technical means such as radar or, even more convincingly, by visible evidence of the condition of the observers or –and this is common to many events---interference with electrical apparatus of one sort or another…. It is difficult to credit that they have all been either lying or hallucinating.”

“From the earliest days of the modern outbreak of sightings some forty years ago, there is a quite remarkable similarity between the descriptions given by observers of the flying vehicles. It is the more remarkable that there have been tens of thousands of these reports, from observers who range who range from illiterate peasants in Argentina and Spain to people with Ph.D.s in other countries and they have all been given spontaneously—which has led to the generic term “flying saucer.” It must be more than a coincidence…”

“There have been thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, of sightings and encounters, physical results and of the latter, by people all over the world whose evidence on any other subject would be accepted without question. There have been major investigations lasting thirty or forty years by the governments of the USA, Russia and France, for certain, and probably Britain and other countries. At the end of it all—today—we have no hard official information to weigh against some hundreds of books on the subject by private individuals or groups of individuals.”

As CNN reports, the UK has opened some of its X-files.

Francis Ridge, UFO researcher, site coordinator, NICAP (National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena) “The following is what makes Ufology worth pursuing and is not intended for the close-minded. We already have:

1) Millions of sightings worldwide and a hundred-thousand-plus sightings are on computer (UFOCAT).

2) 3,000-plus sightings from aircraft (Dr. Richard Haines).

3) 489 radar cases, many radar/visual (Dominique Weinstein); 363 radar cases, 76 as R/V (USAF records alone).

4) 5600 trace cases documented, 4104 involving UFO visual sightings (CUFOS).

5) Over 500 cases of E-M effects associated with UFO sightings (CUFOS) and 185 E-M cases documented involving UFOs near aircraft (Dr. Richard Haines).

6) Hundreds, if not thousands, of excellent close encounters by credible obswervers whose testimony in court would be taken at face value.

7) About 4,000 (701 originally) UNKNOWNS listed in Project Blue Book files.”
Admiral Roscoe Hillenkoetter, first Director of the CIA (1947-50), NICAP board member

"Unknown objects are operating under intelligent control... It is imperative that we learn where UFOs come from and what their purpose is... " (Maccabee, Bruce, "What The Admiral Knew: UFO, MJ-12 and R. Hillenkoetter," International UFO Reporter, Nov./Dec., 1986.)

"It is time for the truth to be brought out in open Congressional hearings. Behind the scenes high ranking Air Force officers are soberly concerned about the UFOs. But through official secrecy and ridicule, many citizens are led to believe the unknown flying objects are nonsense." (Statement in a NICAP news release, February 27, 1960.)

U.S. President Harry S. Truman
"I can assure you that flying saucers, given that they exist, are not constructed by any power on earth." (April 4, 1950, White House Press Conference.)

U.S. President Gerald Ford, 1966:
" I have taken special interest in these accounts [of UFOs]. I think there may be substance to some of these reports… I think we owe it to the people to establish credibility regarding UFOs and to produce the greatest possible enlightenment on this subject." (Committee on Armed Services of the House of Representatives, Eighty-Ninth Congress, Second Session, Hearing on Unidentified Flying Objects, April 5, 1966.)

U.S. President Jimmy Carter, during his election campaign in May 1976:
" I am convinced that UFOs exist because I've seen one... " (The National Enquirer, June 8, 1976, "The Night I Saw a UFO." Statement confirmed by White House special assistant media liaison, Jim Purks, in an April 20, 1979 letter.)

Jimmy Carter reported he witnessed a UFO in October 1969, . From "Above Top Secret" (book): During his election campaign of 1976 he told the following to reporters: "It was the darndest thing I've ever seen. It was big, it was very bright, it changed colors and it was about the size of the moon.. We watched it for ten minutes, but none of us could figure out what it was. One thing's for sure, I'll never make fun of people who say they've seen unidentified objects in the sky.” CNN has confirmed this sighting.

Air Chief Marshal Lord Dowding, Commander-in-Chief of RAF Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain, made the following comment to the press in 1954:
"More than 10,000 sightings have been reported, the majority of which cannot be accounted for by any 'scientific' explanation... I am convinced that these objects do exist and that they are not manufactured by any nation on earth. I can therefore see no alternative to accepting the theory that they come from some extraterrestrial source." (Sunday Dispatch, London, July 11, 1954.)

American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics UFO Subcommittee:
"From a scientific and engineering standpoint, it is unacceptable to simply ignore substantial numbers of unexplained observations...

AIAA Committee Looks at UFO Problem, AIAA UFO Subcommittee, Astronautics and Aeronautics, December 1968, p. 12 “The Committee has made a careful examination of the present state of the UFO issue and has concluded that the controversy cannot be resolved without further study in a quantitative scientific manner and that it deserves the attention of the engineering and scientific community.”

John E. Mack, M.D., Professor of Psychiatry, Harvard University, Pulitzer Prize winning author:
"I will stress once again that we do not know the source from which the UFOs or the alien beings come (whether or not, for example, they originate in the physical universe as modern astrophysics has described it). But they manifest in the physical world and bring about definable consequences in that domain." (Mack, J., Abduction - Human Encounters With Aliens, New York: Scribners, 1994.)

Professor Hermann Oberth, German rocket expert:
"It is my thesis that flying saucers are real and that they are space ships from another solar system. I think that they possibly are manned by intelligent observers who are members of a race that may have been investigating our earth for centuries.” (Oberth H., "Flying Saucers Come From A Distant World," The American Weekly, October 24, 1954.)

"It is my conclusion that UFOs do exist, are very real, and are spaceships from another or more than one solar system. They are possibly manned by intelligent observers who are members of a race carrying out long-range scientific investigations of our earth for centuries." (UFO News, 1974.)

Dr. Carl Gustav Jung, Pioneer of psychiatry, 1954
"A purely psychological explanation is ruled out... the discs show signs of intelligent guidance, by quasi-human pilots..." ("Dr. Carl Jung on Unidentified Flying Objects," Flying Saucer Review, Vol. 1, No. 2, 1955.)

Gordon Cooper, Astronaut (Mercury), CNN October 4, 2004:
“In his post-NASA career, Cooper became known as an outspoken believer in UFOs and charged that the government was covering up its knowledge of extraterrestrial activity. ‘I believe that these extraterrestrial vehicles and their crews are visiting this planet from other planets, which obviously are a little more technically advanced than we are here on Earth," he told a United Nations panel in 1985.’

‘I feel that we need to have a top-level, coordinated program to scientifically collect and analyze data from all over the Earth concerning any type of encounter, and to determine how best to interface with these visitors in a friendly fashion.’

He added, ‘For many years I have lived with a secret, in a secrecy imposed on all specialists and astronauts. I can now reveal that every day, in the USA, our radar instruments capture objects of form and composition unknown to us.” CNN Monday, October 4, 2004

Walter Andrus, Jr., former International Director MUFON (Mutual UFO Network, the largest civilian UFO organization in the U.S.), 1970-2000. (Ronald Story, Encyclopedia)
“After personally interviewing several hundred witnesses to UFO sightings, reviewing the 1,600 UFO landing-trace cases compiled by Ted Phillips, and reading the 1,800 humanoid or entity cases collected by Ted Bloecher, my initial conclusion is that our Earth is being visited by entities from an advanced intelligence in their spacecraft conducting a surveillance of life on this planet.”

Jerome Clark, CUFOS (Center for UFO Studies) (Ronald Story, Encyclopedia)
“After a lifetime in this subject, I have concluded that the extraterrestrial hypothesis is one reasonable tentative approach to putting the best-documented and most puzzling UFO reports into a scientifically defensible conceptual framework. By such reports I mean those with credible multiple or independent witnesses, instrumented observations, and physical evidence.”

Raymond Fowler, veteran UFO researcher, author of eight books on UFOs (Ronald Story)
“After years of study and personal on-site investigation of UFO reports, I am certain that there is more than ample high-quality observational evidence from highly trained and reliable lay witnesses to indicate that there are unidentified machine-like objects under intelligent control operating in our atmosphere. Such evidence in some cases is supported by anomalous physical effects upon the witnesses, electrical devices, and the environment, as well as by instrumentation such as radar and Geiger counters.”

Michael Hesemann, one of Europe’s leading UFO researchers:
“After investigating the UFO phenomenon all over the world, after studying thousands of pages of released government documents, and interviewing eyewitnesses and insiders, including generals, intelligence officers, cosmonauts and astronauts, military and commercial pilots, I do not have the shadow of a doubt anymore that we are indeed visited by extraterrestrial intelligences. The evidence just does not allow another conclusion.”

“We have to learn to deal with this situation and prepare for contact. Studying the behavior pattern of the phenomenon, I came to the conclusion that they are neither friend nor foe, but study our planet and civilization from a mainly scientific perspective. They are as curious to learn more about us, as we would love to study other human and humanoid civilizations…”

“A contact with an extraterrestrial civilization is the greatest challenge for mankind in the Third Millennium. We would finally realize that we are indeed not alone, what could cause a new Copernican revolution, a quantum leap in our thinking and perspective. We would finally realize that we are one mankind and all the small differences which separate humans from each other today—nationality, race, religion—would disappear. Only together can mankind explore the universe, our true home and destiny.”

Donald Keyhoe, former director of NICAP (National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomenon – one of the 2 leading UFO organizations in the 1950’s and 1960’s), author of several bestselling books on UFOs: “During my long investigation of these strange objects, I have seen many reports verified by Air Force Intelligence, detailed accounts by Air Force pilots, radar operators, and other trained observers proving the UFOs are high-speed craft superior to anything built on Earth.”

Nick Pope, official government researcher on UFOs for British Ministry of Defense, author
“On the basis of my official research and investigation into UFO sightings and reports of alien contact, I am personally convinced that intelligent extraterrestrial are visiting Earth. I say this on the basis of the data available to me at the Ministry of Defense, both in terms of the historic records and the several hundred new cases that I investigated each year.”

“There was a hard core of cases that defied any conventional explanation and involved craft capable of speeds and maneuvers beyond the capabilities of our own technology. I was particularly interested in UFO sightings that could be correlated by radar and in reports where the witnesses were military personnel; such cases were directly responsible for my gradual conversion from skeptic to believer.”

Dr. Steven Greer, “Foundations of Interplanetary Unity”: ”The evidence that at least one extraterrestrial civilization has visited Earth is extensive both in scope and detail. In its totality it comprises a body of evidence which at the very least supports the general assessment that extraterrestrial life has been detected, and that a vigorous program of research and serious diplomatic initiatives is warranted.

"...I've been asked [about UFOs] and I've said publicly I thought they were somebody else, some other civilization."
-Commander Eugene Cernan, Commanded the Apollo 17 Mission--The quote is from a 1973 article in the Los Angeles Times.

"It followed us during half of our orbit. We observed it on the light side, and when we entered the shadow side, it disapeared completely. It was an engineering (sic) structure, made from some type of metal, approximately 40 meters long with inner hulls. The object was narrow here and wider here, and inside there were openings. Some places had projections like small wings. The object stayed very close to us. We photographed it, and our photos showed it to be 23 to 28 meters away."
-Cosmonaut Victor Afanasyev commenting on a UFO sighting that occured while en route to the Salyut 6 space station in April of 1979. (One person recently wrote in to tell me that this date is inaccurate, if anyone can confirm or deny this, please let me know.)

"[I believe] certain reports of flying saucers to be legitimate."
-John Glen

These guys are real... I guarantee it!"
-Dr. Story Musgrave, Space Shuttle Astronaut--Dr. Musgrave's final statement at the end of an astronomy presentation when he pointed to his last slide depicting a typical "grey" alien.

"I had the evidence that a crash did happen here....Give this information to the young people of the world and this country....They want it. Give it to them. Don't hide it and tell lies and make stories. They're not stupid....It's their information. It doesn't belong to the Army or the Department of Defence. If it's classified, take the classification off and give it to them!" -The late Colonel Philip J. Corso, who made this impassioned plea not long before his death (Summer 1998). Colonel Corso was a member of President Eisenhower's National Security Council and later went on to become head of the U.S. Army Research and Development department's Foreign Technology Desk where he claimed to have worked with General Arthur Trudeau in "seeding" American military and industrial institutions with technology under his stuardship which came from a crashed alien craft in Roswell New Mexico.

"This was no ordinary UFO. Scores of people saw it. It was no illusion, no deception, no imagination."
-Air Marshall Azim Daudpota, Zimbabwe, commenting on a UFO witnessed in July of 1985 by many people and tracked on radar.

Seargent-Major Robert O. Dean, former NATO intelligence analyst for SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe) ...They made...a recomendation to General Limnitzer, the American four star general that I worked for. And they suggested this is so sensitive ...'The conclusions that we have reached, we believe could be...substantially earthshaking to the people unless they're prepared for it. We believe at this point that this should be given the highest classification NATO has' [which] at that time was and still is Cosmic Top Secret." --From a videotaped interview in which Dean discussed SHAPE's alleged report entitled "An Assessment" based on a 3-year investigation of UFOs being tracked on radar over central Europe.

"Of course UFOs are real--and they are interplanetary.....The cumulative evidence for the existence of UFOs is quite overwhelming and I accept the fact of their existence."
-Air Chief Marshall Lord Hugh Dowding, commanding officer of the Royal Air Force during WWII. Statement made in August of 1954.

"UFOs are impossible to deny....It is very strange that we have never been able to find out the source for over two decades."
-Colonel Fuijo Hayashi, Commander of the Air Transport Wing of Japan's Air Self-Defense Force. This statement was made sometime in the 1960s.

"UFOs are real and they may come from outer space....photographs and various materials show scientifically that there are more advanced people piloting the saucers and motherships."
-General Kanshi Ishikawa, Chief of Air Staff of Japan's ASDF, in a statement in 1967.

"Something is going on in the skies....that we do not understand. If all the airline pilots and Air Force pilots who have seen UFOs--and sometimes chased them--have been the victims of hallucinations, then an awful lot of pilots should be taken off and forbidden to fly."
-Captain Kervendal, of the French Gendarmerie

"That movie Close Encounters of The Third Kind is more realistic than you believe."
-Steve Lewis, Former Air Force intelligence officer who spent many years investigating the UFO phenomenon for the US military. This statement was made after his retirement when he announced that he was convinced UFOs were intelligently controlled, extraterrestrial vehicles. He would give no further details of his work, but said that very little of the information in possession of the military had been released.

"The nations of the world will have to unite for the next war will be an interplanetary war. The nations of Earth must some day make a common front against attack by people from other planets."
-General Douglas MacArthur, in a 1955 statement. MacArthur is thought by some to have been involved with General George Marshall in establishing the Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit in 1947, supposedly formed to investigate UFO crashes, it is said to have been disbanded in the early 1950s.

"In concealing the evidence of UFO operations, the Air Force is making a serious mistake."
-Lt. Colonel James McAshan, USAF

"Flying saucers are real. Too many good men have seen them, that don't have hallucinations."
-Captain Eddie Rickenbacker, "American Ace of Aces," medal of honor-winning commander of the 94th Aero Pursuit Squadron in WWI, with 26 "kills".

"UFOs sighted in Indonesia are identical with those sighted in other countries. Sometimes they pose a problem for our Air Defence and once we were obliged to open fire on them."
-Air Marshall Nurjadin Roesmin, Commander-in-Chief of the Indonesian Air Force, 1967. Also, see the quotes below, by Air Commodore Salutun.

Air Commodore J. Salutun, National Aerospace Council of Indonesia, and Indonesian Parliament Member.

"The most spectacular UFO incident in Indonesia occurred when during the height of President Sukarno's confrontation against Malaysia, UFOs penetrated a well-defended area in Java for two weeks at a stretch, and each time were welcomed with perhaps the heaviest anti-aircraft barrage in history."
"The study of UFOs is a necessity for the sake of world security in the event we have to prepare for the worst in the space age, irrespective of whether we become Columbus or the Indians."

Consider the following overview of facts:

• There are numerous daytime and night time photographs and videotapes of clearly non-human spacecraft from all over the world; these films and videotapes have been evaluated and deemed authentic by competent experts in optical physics and related fields.

• There are more than 3500 military and commercial aircraft pilot reports of encounters worldwide; many cases have corroborating radar documentation and multiple witnesses both on the ground and in the air.

• There are more than 4000 landing trace cases from around the world.

• There are hundreds of electromagnetic cases where spacecraft have been observed by police, military personnel and civilians to affect car engines, radios and other electric devices.

• There are more than 100 first- and second- hand witnesses to the retrieval of an extraterrestrial spacecraft and at least four extraterrestrial bodies from a crash which occurred in July, 1947, 75 miles northwest of Roswell, New Mexico; written and videotaped testimony from several first-hand witnesses who are respected military officers have been obtained.

• There are hundreds of credible reports, many with multiple witnesses, of humanoids in association with landed spacecraft.

• There are several multiple-witnessed events where humans have been taken on board spacecraft.

Former Astronaut and 6th man to have walked on the moon, Dr. Edgar Mitchell:
"non local communication forms, such as Remote Viewing and telepathy, are possible forms for ET communication, and claimed by some", and in another context he adds: "it is time to release the constraints on UFOs and extra terrestrial information that has been avoided or hidden by most nations, and/or in agreement with Extraterrestrials themselves". F. Psychological Preparation for Contact with Off Planet Cultures:

Our contact with off planet cultures will most probably transform our institutions over time, such as our religions, our economy, our energy sources and our sciences. Dr. Mack believed that politics will be changed most of all.

Through a properly executed exopolitics master plan, the Star Dreams Initiative (SDI), this transformation can be positive and for the greater good of humanity. The process of education about life in the Universe must continue to be gradual and focused on spirituality in order to avoid unnecessary fear.

Michael Mannion, author of Project Mindshift, explains that the U.S. public and the world at large, have been gradually getting educated through films, the media, print, and television about the possibility of the existence of “off planet cultures”.

According to a 2002 Roper poll promoted by the Coalition for Freedom of Information, 72% of U.S. residents believe the federal government is not telling us everything it knows about unidentified flying objects.

The Star Dreams Initiative (SDI) is synergistic with public attitude profiles in the United States and world public attitudes toward Off Planet Cultures:

Highlights of the Roper Poll on UFOs & Extraterrestrial Life

Most U.S. residents Psychologically and Spiritually Prepared for Proof of Extraterrestrial Life
Most U.S. residents appear comfortable with and even excited about the thought of the discovery of
extraterrestrial life. Three-quarters of the public claim they are at least somewhat psychologically prepared for the discovery of extraterrestrial life, and nearly half are very prepared.

Such a discovery would not be difficult for most U.S. residents to reconcile with their religious beliefs. Should the government make an announcement about the discovery of extraterrestrial life, only a very small proportion expect it to change their religious beliefs at all.

Furthermore, slightly more than half of U.S. residents are at least somewhat interested in personally encountering extraterrestrial life forms here on earth. This is particularly true of males and of 18-to-24-year-olds.

Government Knows More Than It Is Telling
In the view of many adults (55 percent), the government does not share enough information with the public in general. An even greater proportion (roughly seven in ten) thinks that the government does not tell us everything it knows about extraterrestrial life and UFOs. The younger the age, the stronger the belief that the government is withholding information about these topics.

This is not a situation that most U.S. residents would like to have continue. Provided national security is not at risk, most believe that the government should share information it has about other intelligent life and UFOs with the public. Males and adults below the age of 65 are more inclined to support the declassification of government information relating to such phenomena. Naturally, those with a belief and an interest in extraterrestrial life are also more likely proponents of revealing such information to the public.

The Alien Next Door?
Perhaps U.S. residents expect to take a government announcement about extraterrestrial life in stride because many U.S. residents already believe in the extraterrestrial. Two-thirds of U.S. residents say they think there are other forms of intelligent life in the universe and nearly half say they believe that UFOs have visited the earth in some form over the years (48 percent) or that aliens have monitored life on earth (45 percent). In fact, more than one in three U.S. residents (37 percent) believe that humans have already interacted with extraterrestrial lifeforms. These beliefs tend to be more prevalent among males and among adults under the age of 65.

When it comes to alien abductions, one in five U.S. residents in general and more than half (57 percent) of those who say that humans have already interacted with extraterrestrial life believe that abductions have taken place. Once again, males and 18-to-64-year-olds are most likely to hold such a belief.
Alien Encounters

One in seven U.S. residents say that they or someone they know has had at least one "close encounter" of the "First," "Second," or "Third" kind. The largest proportion (12 percent) say they or someone else they know has seen a UFO at close quarters. Much smaller proportions say they or an acquaintance have seen a UFO cause a physical effect on objects, animals, or humans (3 percent) or have had an encounter with extraterrestrial life (2 percent). Among those who believe in abductions, one-third claim to have experienced, or know someone who experienced, a Close Encounter of their own.

When it comes to other unusual personal experiences, 1.4 percent, or 2.9 million U.S. residents, say they have experienced at least four of five key events that believers of UFO abductions have identified as being of particular interest in examining whether UFO abductions might actually have taken place.

Perhaps not surprisingly, those who believe in abductions and who have experienced, or know someone who experienced, a Close Encounter are more inclined to report an occurrence of at least four such events.
