Geri De Stefano, Ph.D. has been a practicing psychic, teacher and business consultant for 30 years in the United States and Canada.

Born in 1947 in Los Angeles, California, she attended Mt. St. Mary’s College for three years then transferred to the University of California at Berkeley where she majored in Environmental Design.  In 1976, she attended Paideia University in San Francisco and was awarded a Master’s Degree in Psychology. She then attended Hawthorne University in San Francisco for post-graduate work in Psychology and Para-psychology. She was awarded a Ph.D. in 1981.

Throughout the 30 years, in addition to having a private psychic and therapeutic practice, she has used her skills in the business world with corporations and private individuals. Through her unique approach, psychically and therapeutically, she has been able to assist people in business to develop clearer strategies, enhanced communication with employees, and to  facilitate conflict resolution sessions and  the development of clear chain of command organizational skills.

Additionally, she has worked with many authors, artists, actors and musicians to assist them in dealing with creative blocks and personal development of psychic skills to enhance creativity.

ONE-YEAR SEMINAR with Geri DeStefano-Webre, PhD

If you are ready to transform your life and make a commitment to deep, inner work this will prove to be a life changing and affirming process for you. This will be the third One-Year Seminar that I have facilitated in this life.

 The format for this Work is: a weekly group session of three hours, an additional monthly group session, usually on Saturday or Sunday of 4 hours, private sessions, on an as needed basis, overnight retreats and a journey of 10 days.

 The goal for this Work is to transform yourself to create the life you love. Whatever you think may happen in your life as a result of going through this process probably won’t! You are asked to suspend expectations and to discover the deeper pattern in your life. It’s not always what we think! This process is designed to take you out of your comfort zone and opens you to different possibilities.

 The group works together on various projects through the year in order to raise the funds for the 10-day journey. These projects become a fertile ground for the exploration of the programs and stories that run us.

 I am very interested in our deeper, personal patterns and I am VERY interested in the deeper patterns of our reality. I believe that we have a singular and unique opportunity to experience energies in our realities that humanity hasn’t been present to for many thousands of years. Spiritual Emergence/Emergency: Transcendence or Psychosis?

A Talk by Dr. Geri De Stefano-Webre

     There are events in life that can bring about feelings of ecstasy, at-one-ness or a deeper connection with other people, nature and the cosmos. Or, these same events can produce profound anxiety, disorientation or hallucinations. What might look like an enlightenment experience to one person can appear like a psychotic break or schizophrenic episode to another.

     Events in life that may trigger a spiritual emergency can be a Near Death Experience, meditation, being separated from one’s spiritual teacher, a loss of faith, a kundalini experience, changing one’s religious or spiritual beliefs or inter-dimensional, extra-terrestrial contact.

     These events can happen to anyone. You don’t have to already be on a personal mission seeking enlightenment. You could be someone going in for a routine medical procedure and suddenly find yourself traveling down a tunnel of Light. . . .towards eternity waking up a very changed individual. How does one think about these events in the context of a life that so often demands being “normal”? How do you talk about that feeling of deep ONENESS with everything and everyone? Feelings of spontaneous compassion? Visions of your departed loved ones. . .without sounding “crazy”?

     Many people who undergo a spiritual crisis will try to keep it to themselves. Others have a profound need to share the information with others. They feel compelled to enlighten others and this is often a part of the experience. There can be a sense of receiving information that is perceived as vital for the survival of all humanity.

     This is usually when families and friends start ringing up the local mental hospitals looking for a cure.

     Over the years I have worked with hundreds of people in a variety of settings who have had extraordinary experiences that changed their lives. Some took it in stride and were able to integrate the information into a functioning reality. Many others had to take detours through mental wards and drug therapies on their way to wholeness. I have a sense that we are going to see a lot more of these spiritual emergencies over the next decade as humanity seeks a deeper understanding of reality in this time of ever shifting realities. It is essential that people undergoing a Spiritual Emergence/Emergency event have access to competent and understanding healers and listeners.  This will allow the individual movement towards a more expanded way of being that involves enhanced emotional and psychosomatic health, greater freedom of personal choices and an increased awareness of the spiritual dimension in one’s life and in the universal scheme of things.

Maui in April is nothing short of sublime! Balmy breezes, sunshine, torrential rains which last for 10 minutes, and flowering jacarandas lining the highway. It was a real feast for the senses. I arrived on April 15 and after a few bumps and starts gave a free talk on Tuesday evening. This was held at the Sacred Garden, a magnificent 10,000 sq. ft. nursery and centre for awareness. My host, and owner, Eve Hogan has an eye and heart for creating truly sacred spaces. Within the nursery there is a gigantic carved Buddha and an altar flanked by vividly colored local flowers. Prayer flags flutter above, candles are lit and a sense of deep serenity flows freely. Outside, in the garden, under a canopy of trees is a labyrinth that guests can walk and benches to just sit and absorb the beauty.

The talk went well. I wanted to share my experiences as a professional psychic and it gave rise to a lively discussion.
