"YES WE CAN" DEMAND FREEDOM OF THE PRESS OBAMA'S SECRET SERVICE & POLICE BLOODY JOURNALIST A story about a bloody finger and human rights violations. Honolulu, HI-- A three-women independent film crew from a local cable access television show had a violent run in with police and Obama's Secret Service that has outraged journalists nationwide. It happened right before the New Year, when RJ Hampton, the host of We Are Change Hawaii, accompanied by camera-woman Sativa Jones, and journalist Sherri Kane, the Vice President of MedicalVeritas.org, drove within 100 feet of the barricades where Barack Obama was vacationing. Their sole purpose was to capture a backdrop for their weekly show. Kane presented her press badge to the guards at the barricades, and Hampton asked the guards if she could film a short opening to the show. They allowed it, Hampton did her opening, and the crew happily left the scene. As they were driving away, Kane noticed a secret service van following them. A few blocks later the women pulled into a gas station, where suddenly five police cars and two secret service vans ambushed them. The women were told to "stay in the car," and then asked to state their business. Once again, Sherri Kane presented her press badge and told the police why they were there. The first officer that approached the car was a Hawaiian policeman, who smiled and seemed to honor the crew's credentials. He informed the crew that they were being stopped because the Secret Service reported the women as "suspicious." The next approaching officer, however, had a much different attitude. Officer D. Deutschman (the name literally meaning "German Man"), acted as though he served a Nazi regime. "I'm in control here," he commanded, with Jones's camera rolling. Then, after realizing he was being filmed, Deutschman demanded that Jones, "Turn the camera off." "Keep the camera going," Kane responded. "Don't shut the camera off." Deutschman then reached into the crew's vehicle and grabbed the camera out of Jones's hands, slicing her middle finger in the process. In a fit of rage, he then slammed the camera on top of the crew's car, totaling the camera and its lense. Then, "the Nazi" continued to interrogate the "suspects" for nearly 40 minutes. "This is not simply a case of presidential security," said Dr. Leonard Horowitz, who owned the vehicle used by the crew. "This is a symptom of corporate fascism controlling the media, and poisoning people's minds. Deutschman became a terrorist, rather than defending people against terrorism." A New Breed of Police After this new breed of Gestapo-agent dressed in police attire completed his harassing interrogation of the women, Deutschman handed the crew a notice of alleged misconduct, with a case number for a "Miscellaneous Public record." "Does this mean the incident is recorded in a database, and we will we be put on a suspect watch list now?" Kane, previously with FOX News in LA, asked Deutschman. Deutschman refused to reply. Then, after a long pause, he threatened Kane pointing to the paper. "What? You don't want this then?" he chillingly asked. Kane replied, "I didn't say that. I simply asked you two questions, that you don't seem to want to answer." Deutschman gave Kane a final threatening look as if to say, keep pushing it lady and I'll send you to the gas chamber. The Patriot Act Makes Journalists Out to Be Terrorists It is ironic that Kane and Horowitz, who have been at the forefront of protecting Americans' civil rights and health freedoms from risks posed by Big Pharma, Wall Street, and the "PharmaMedia," would now be victimized by officials empowered by The Patriot Act to treat journalists like terrorists. Patriot Act provisions can ensnare journalists, and compromise their ability to cover news honestly. The legislation has journalists across America concerned. Relatedly, Kane and Horowitz recently exposed the manner in which the independent news media has been heavily infiltrated by the CIA and FBI in a COINTELPRO-like program reminiscent of the 1960s, when J. Edgar Hoover wielded the FBI and Justice Department to attack and destroy political "dissidents." Their story is published on Kane's blog at SherriKane.com. Kane, a frequent guest on the We Are Change Hawaii production team, views this bloody ordeal as anti-American and unconstitutional. It is an example of Fourth Reich policies impacting journalists and American citizens on the street. Ultimately, legislation, the police, and the media, is controlled by the central bankers--crisis capitalists including the Rockefellers and Rothchilds, that run JP Morgan/Chase and Goldman Sachs, and conspire with mainstream media moguls to control information, and the mass mindset. Local News Media Influence The media makes models celebrities, and 'normal' people victims of inferiority complexes. This "programming" poisons people's minds, and extends to news rooms everywhere. Initially Daryl Huff, the KITV-ABC Channel 4 news reporter covering the story, felt that the three women were not "true journalists." In the news studio, he said that perhaps the police did not respect Hampton, Jones and Kane's credentials since the journalists did not "look like them." "You mean we didn't have a fancy van, or microphones labeled KITV-ABC?" Kane asked Huff. Initially, Huff wrote on the KITV Channel 4 news site, "Sherri Kane calls herself an Investigative journalist," rather than just writing her title "Investigative Journalist." Kane phoned Huff about that, and he kindly agreed to change it and did, but it had already reached the wires. Who Are the "'Real' Journalists?" The debate this incident imposes is, "who are 'real' journalists?" "Does the mainstream media hold the only valid form of credentials?" asked Dr. Horowitz, President and Medical Veritas journal, a federally recognized 501(c)3, registered as an active media corporation in Hawaii, whose name and vehicle ID are believed to have been added to Deutschman's report. "Suppression of the free and independent press is the fertilizer for fascism," Horowitz continued,"because censorship and slurs against independent journalists, including film-makers, is used to dumb people down and turn them off to alternative views, like 'sheeple' being herded to their slaughter." Now, with many more news sources throughout the world being published on the Internet, including independent radio and television networks, blogs, and social networking, it is easier for people to engage journalism, and legitimately call themselves a "journalist." "There is a new type of 'journalist' emerging a result of cable access TV and the Internet," said Hampton. "We Are Change Hawaii is part of a national organization* that produces programs quickly and makes news with people like Sherri Kane, who was recently featured on Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura for fingering inside 'traitors' in the Gulf Oil debacle. We work with Dr. Leonard Horowitz, who has significantly contributed to the public's knowledge about risky vaccinations, and Michael J. Murphy, the producer of G. Edward Griffin's "What In the World Are They Spraying?" Frankly, we don't deserve to be harassed, and bloodied by bullies in uniform." Sherri Kane and Dr. Leonard Horowitz were featured on TruTV's Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura recently after publishing "30 Facts Evidencing the Rothschild League of Bankers Planned the Gulf Oil Crisis." Ventura interviewed Horowitz and Kane, previously with FOX News in Los Angeles, regarding their research evidencing the Gulf Oil Disaster had been orchestrated as "an inside job."
