I have letters from my grandfather stationed at Fort Riley KS Military base in 1918. In his letters he writes that he was gassed for 3 days and on the third day with the real choke stuff. They all died just a couple of weeks after in France.I'm writing a book now based around the letters. I would love to hear from your guest! I understand her wanting her privacy. But if you could link us up that would be awesome! I've always felt the gas that was used on them had something to do with the outbreak.
